XBOX ONE Darksiders Genesis (new)

Xbox One Darksiders Genesis is an action-adventure role-playing game from Airship Syndicate and publisher THQ Nordic. Released in 2019 for Xbox One and other platforms, this game is a spin-off of the popular Darksiders series and offers players a new perspective on the world and characters of this universe.

Unlike previous games in the Darksiders series, which were action-adventure games with a third-person view, Darksiders Genesis uses an isometric view similar to the style of games like Diablo. Players take on the role of Strife, one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, who makes his first appearance as a playable character in the series. The game also allows for cooperative play, with a second player taking on the role of Ware, the protagonist of the original Darksiders game.

The story of Darksiders Genesis takes place before the events of the original Darksiders game, and follows Strife and Ware as they are sent by the Council of the High Ones on a mission to kill an evil demon named Lucifer who threatens the balance between good and evil.

Gameplay is focused on combat and exploration, with players traversing a series of levels filled with enemies, puzzles and bosses. Strife specializes in ranged combat using his dual weapons, while War prefers close combat with his powerful Chaoseater sword. Players can upgrade their characters and gain new abilities throughout the game.
