Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith is an action video game that was released in May 2005 to coincide with the release of the film of the same name. The game was developed by The Collective and released by LucasArts for the Xbox console (and also for the PlayStation 2). The game allows players to experience key moments of the film from the perspective of the main characters, particularly Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi, while offering both single-player and multiplayer modes.

The first major part of the game follows the film's storyline, where players can experience the dramatic events leading up to Anakin's fall to the dark side and transformation into Darth Vader. The game is presented as an action-adventure game with a combat system based on light and heavy attacks, combinations and the use of the Force to manipulate objects and enemies. Players have the ability to develop character abilities as they progress through the game, allowing them access to more powerful attacks and magical abilities.

In addition to the main campaign, the game offers a "Versus" mode in which players can compete against each other in character-on-character combat, an element that extends the gameplay and fun beyond the story portion.
