Peter Jackson's King Kong: The Official Game of the Movie is an action-adventure game developed by Ubisoft Montpellier and published by Ubisoft. The game was released in 2005 for Xbox 360 and is inspired by the movie "King Kong" directed by Peter Jackson.
The game takes the player to a mysterious island where he discovers extra-original flora and fauna and has to battle all sorts of dangerous creatures, including dinosaur predators. Players take on the roles of various characters, including film director Carl Denham and movie star Jack Driscoll, as they and other members of the film crew try to survive on the island and capture the legendary King Kong monkey.
