XBOX 360 Mass Effect 2

Xbox 360 Mass Effect 2 is the second installment of the Mass Effect trilogy, an action role-playing game from BioWare. It was published by Electronic Arts and released for the Xbox 360 in January 2010.

The game continues the story of the first installment and once again puts the player in the role of Commander Shepard, who this time is affiliated with the Cerberus organization led by a mysterious man known only as The Illusive Man. This organization is generally considered to be very controversial due to its unethical experiments, but their common goal is now to counter a threat called The Collectors, who are allegedly kidnapping human colonies.

Mass Effect 2 focuses on collecting and developing a team of different characters from across the galaxy, with each character having unique skills and their own backstory. These "loyalty missions" are an important part of the game, providing a deeper look at individual team members while also influencing the final outcome of the game.

As in the first game, the decisions the player makes during the course of the game affect the course of the story and can have far-reaching consequences. These decisions can affect the relationships with characters, the plot, and the final outcome of the game. The dialogue system remains, but has been further enhanced with the addition of "interrupts" where you can make a quick decision during a conversation that can have a dramatic impact on the flow of dialogue and subsequent events.

The combat system has also been improved and is now more action-oriented. Players have a wide range of weapons and abilities at their disposal, and can also take advantage of advanced tactics such as using cover and commands for their team.

Mass Effect 2 has been very well received by critics and gamers, and is often considered one of the best installments in the series and one of the best games ever. Its strong story, fleshed out characters, and improved combat system have often been praised.
