XBOX 360 Assassin's Creed III

Assassin's Creed III on Xbox 360 is an open-world action-adventure game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft. The game was released for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U and PC in October 2012. Assassin's Creed III is the fifth major installment in the popular Assassin's Creed series and follows the events of the previous games, most notably Assassin's Creed: Revelations.

The game is set in the 18th century during the American Revolution and introduces a new protagonist, Ratonhnhaké:ton, known as Connor. Connor is a young Assassin who is part Mohawk and part British. Players follow Connor's journey as he joins the Assassin brotherhood and fights against the Order of the Templars, who are attempting to take over the newly independent United States of America.

Assassin's Creed III brings a number of new features and improvements over previous games in the series. The game includes expansive and detailed environments that consist of American colonies such as Boston and New York, as well as vast forests and rural areas for players to explore. The game introduces a new parkour and combat system that includes tree climbing, game hunting and the ability to use new weapons such as the tomahawk, bow and arrow.

Assassin's Creed III also includes naval battles, a new element for the series. Players can control their own ship and fight enemy ships at sea, navigate through dangerous waters and complete various naval missions.

The game continues the modern day story as Desmond Miles, the series' protagonist, continues his quest to gain the power and abilities of the Assassins by using a device called the Animus to prevent the apocalypse and defeat the Order of the Templars.
