Assassin's Creed II introduces a new hero - the young nobleman Ezio Auditore da Firenze - and a new age - the Renaissance. Retaining the gameplay foundation that made the first title such a huge success, it introduces new experiences that will surprise and challenge players.

Assassin's Creed II is an epic tale of family, revenge and conspiracy set in the genteel yet brutal setting of Renaissance Italy. Ezio befriends Leonardo da Vinci, crosses paths with Florence's most powerful families and braves the canals of Venice to learn the mastery of the Assassin's Guild.

Ezio, a new assassin for a new age: Ezio Auditore da Firenze is a young Italian nobleman who learns the craft of assassination as a means of revenge for betraying his family. An elegant single man, a lover of women, yet he has a very human side to him. Through him, you become an elite assassin.

Renaissance Italy: Italy in the fifteenth century was a cluster of city states rather than a unified country, where families with political and economic power began to take the lead in cities like Florence and Venice. This story is set in some of the most glorious cities in the world, a time when the birth of culture and art went hand in hand with some of the worst examples of corruption, greed and murder.

A newfound freedom: In this open world that returns to free-roaming, and adds extra elements to the adventure such as swimming and even flying, you can do missions when you want and how you want. The variety of gameplay elements adds more options to play the game the way you want.

Dynamic Crowd: Discover a living, breathing world where every person is an opportunity for the player. Blending in with the crowd is easier, working with game characters brings well-deserved rewards, but can also lead to surprising consequences.

Become an elite assassin: hone your skills and become an elite assassin, then wield new weapons. Learn how to disarm enemies and then use their own weapons against them. Eliminate enemies using both hidden blades.
