Battle of the Bands is a rhythm video game released by THQ for the Nintendo Wii platform in 2008. The game was developed by Planet Moon Studios and features a unique concept where bands of different musical genres face off against each other in musical battles.

Players choose one of 11 bands, encompassing different musical styles such as rock, country, hip hop, mariachi, and more. Each band has its own unique style and instruments. After choosing a band, players play different songs by copying the moves shown on the screen using the Wii Remote.

In Battle of the Bands, each song can be played in different musical styles, depending on which band is currently "in charge". For example, when a rock band is in the lead, the song will be played in the rock version. But if a hip hop band takes the lead, the song will switch to the hip hop version.

The game also features a multiplayer mode where two players can compete against each other, each controlling their own band.Graphically, Battle of the Bands has a stylized, cartoony look, with colorful and extravagant characters and environments.
