PS5 NBA 2K22 is the sequel to 2K's popular basketball sports video game series. The game gives players the chance to experience their own professional basketball story in MyCAREER mode, build their own team in MyTEAM or test their skills as a manager in MyGM and MyLEAGUE. It is designed for one to four players and supports online play for up to 10 players with a PS Plus subscription.

NBA 2K22 introduces new tactical attacks and a fundamentally redesigned defense for a more competitive and immersive game. There are skills such as dribbling, shooting, dunks and alley-oops that players can add to their repertoire, and new blocks and tackles to use against them on the other side of the court.

As part of the NBA 2K22 community, players can create their own basketball identities, either in the City (for PS5) or in the Neighborhood (for PS4).

In addition to the game itself, NBA 2K22 also features the MyTEAM system, which allows players to build their own team from the stars of today and legends of the past. Each season brings new opportunities to earn new rewards, whether in MyTEAM or MyCAREER.
