PS5 Balan Wonderworld is an action platformer developed by Balan Company and published by Square Enix. The game was released in March 2021 for various platforms including PlayStation 5 (PS5), PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch and PC. Balan Wonderworld was designed by Yuji Naka, the famed creator of Sonic the Hedgehog and Nights into Dreams, and graphically designed by Naoto Oshima.

Balan Wonderworld tells the story of two young heroes, Leo and Emma, who encounter a mysterious character named Balan in a theatrical world called Wonderworld. Players take on the role of one of the heroes and explore various levels inspired by the theatrical performances, uncovering secrets and overcoming challenges as they go.

The main gameplay feature of Balan Wonderworld is the ability for heroes to wear more than 80 different costumes that give them unique abilities and skills. These costumes allow players to overcome obstacles, fight enemies and solve puzzles in the world of Wonderworld.

The game takes place in a surreal and colorful environment that combines elements of theater, musical theater and classic platformers. Balan Wonderworld features more than twelve different chapters that take players into different worlds inspired by the performing arts.
