A grim medieval
The game is set in a very bleak period of the French kingdom. Specifically, the year is 1349. And it's up to you, more specifically the 15-year-old heroine Amicia and her little brother Hugo, to fight your way through the depressing region and devastated villages to freedom and find the meaning of life.

 
A wasteland full of traps
The journey to a better tomorrow takes you through a terrifying region that breathes deadly danger at every turn. The environment around you has been affected by a plague whose negative aura you will feel all around you. How will you deal with this blast of fear? Can you withstand all the pitfalls?

Beware of the rats...
Arm yourselves with perseverance, focus your attention. You never know where a hostile individual will jump out at you, whose desire is quite obvious - to stop your efforts, to thwart your plan. And who will you confront? You'll be trailed by a flood of bloodthirsty rats spreading across France.
...and the soldiers, too.

As well as the omnipresent and intrusive rodents, you must be wary of the soldiers and mercenaries who pursue Amicia and Hugo as members of the noble de Rune family, eager to take possession of the younger sibling. Can you escape them? Of course, the power is on your opponent's side, so make use of various tricks and hiding places.

Allies will help
In pursuit of your dream of finding a new life, you will encounter not only unpleasant, i.e. hostile, company, but also "kindred spirits" - other children. They won't hurt you. On the contrary. Join forces with them and eliminate the resistance of the aforementioned voracious rats that eat everything alive. Maybe this fire isn't doing them any good...
