PS5 God of War Ragnarök is the sequel to the critically acclaimed 2018 God of War, developed by Santa Monica. The game is available on PlayStation 5 and was released on November 9, 2022.

The main characters, Kratos and Atreus, journey to each of the nine realms in an attempt to find answers as the Asgardian forces prepare for a prophetic battle to end the world. Along the way, they explore beautiful mythical landscapes and face terrifying enemies in the form of Norse gods and monstrosities.

Atreus seeks knowledge that will help him understand the prophecy of "Loki" and determine his role in Ragnarök. Kratos must decide whether he will be chained by fear of repeating his mistakes, or free himself from his past to be the father Atreus needs.

The game offers a number of new abilities for both characters and reintroduces some popular weapons from past games, including the Leviathan Axe, Blades of Chaos, and Guardian Shield. Kratos' deadly Spartan skills will be tested like never before as he battles gods and monstrosities in all nine realms to protect his family.
