Tom Clancy's The Division 2 is an action role-playing video game developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft. The game was released in March 2019 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows. The Division 2 is a direct sequel to "Tom Clancy's The Division" and is set in Washington, D.C., in a dystopian future where the United States of America is dealing with the aftermath of a deadly pandemic.

Players take on the role of agents of the Strategic Homeland Division (Division for short), an elite civilian unit tasked with restoring order and preventing the fall of the city and the country. Compared to the first installment in the series, "The Division 2" brings an enhanced open world, a richer storyline and expanded single-player and co-op options.

In the game, players can look forward to a rich loot system, diverse enemy factions and a dynamic environment that responds to player actions. The game also includes expanded PvP (player versus player) modes and "Dark Zones", specific areas where players can compete with other players for high-end equipment, but at the risk of losing everything they have collected in the elevated zone if they are defeated.

One of the major improvements over the first game is the breadth and depth of endgame content, giving players a wealth of options to further develop their characters and engage in challenging activities including invasions, raids and seasonal events once they reach max level.
