Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure is an action-adventure game and the first game in the popular Skylanders series , developed by Toys for Bob and published by Activision. It was released for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii, Nintendo 3DS and other platforms in 2011. This game took a revolutionary concept of combining physical toys with a game world, where players can transport their characters into the game through a special device called the "Portal of Power."

Interaction between physical toys and the game: Players use plastic character figurines that have a chip embedded in them. When the figurine is placed on the "Portal of Power," the character appears in the game and the player can control it. The game allows the player to use different characters, each with unique abilities and fighting styles.

Storyline: Players take on the role of a "Portal Master," who controls characters known as Skylanders. The goal is to stop the evil Kaos, who wants to take over the Skylands, a magical world full of different islands and environments.
