Skate 2 is a skateboarding video game developed by EA Black Box and published by Electronic Arts. The game was released for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in January 2009. Skate 2 is the sequel to the first Skate, which was popular for its realistic depiction of skateboarding and innovative controls.

The game is set in a fictional town called New San Vanelona, which was rebuilt after being destroyed in the first installment. Players take on the role of a seasoned skateboarder who returns to the town and tries to rebuild his reputation and career. The city offers a wide variety of different environments and areas for players to explore and in which they can perform various tricks and challenges.

Skate 2 builds on the controls and gameplay of the first installment while adding several new features and improvements.
