PS3 Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood is an action-adventure video game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft. It is a direct sequel to Assassin's Creed II and is the third main title in the Assassin's Creed series. The game was originally released for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Microsoft Windows in 2010.

In Brotherhood, players control the character Ezio Auditore da Firenze, the main protagonist of Assassin's Creed II. Brotherhood is set in Rome in 1503, at the height of the Renaissance and during the heyday of the Borgia family, which controls the city. The game combines historical events and a fictional story in which Ezio continues his fight against the Templar Order.

Over the course of the game, Ezio becomes the leader of the Roman Assassins and players can recruit new members by liberating parts of the city controlled by the Borgia and completing quests that help rebuild the city. These recruited Assassins can then be sent on missions across Europe or used in combat in Rome.

In addition to the game's main story, players can also enter a virtual training program where they can hone their skills and earn points. Brotherhood was also the first game in the series to introduce a multiplayer mode, in which players can compete online in multiple different killing games.

The gameplay of the game stays true to the series, with a mix of stealth, parkour and combat. Ezio has many different weapons and tools at his disposal, including hidden blades, swords, crossbows and smoke bombs. He can also use his abilities to sneak and climb buildings, a key element of the gameplay of the Assassin's Creed series.
