PS2 The Great Escape

The Great Escape is based on the 1963 film starring Steve McQueen and revolves around the real events of World War II. The game takes place in many unique locations, from prisoner of war camps to a mountaintop. Levels in the game include a busy hospital, a chase through a moving train, and an escape from an active Luftwaffe airfield.

The story focuses on the largest mass escape in history from the Stalag Luft III POW camp. This game uses a strong story line and the characters of the film to place the player in the middle of the action. It uses a combination of stealth, combat, and frantic action, including multiple vehicles and an amazing motorcycle finale.
