PS2 Pro Evolution Soccer 4 (also known as Winning Eleven 8 in Japan and the US) is a football video game developed and published by Konami in 2004 for the PlayStation 2 video game console.

The game features many improvements over its predecessors, including improved graphics, player animations and artificial intelligence. Players can play against over 100 teams from around the world, including all licensed teams from the UEFA Champions League and UEFA League Cup.

Pro Evolution Soccer 4 offers several game modes, including a career mode where players can create their own team and manage it throughout the season, and several tournament modes such as European Championship, World Championship and Konami Cup.

The game also allows players to create their own stadiums, playing fields and uniforms and share them with other players using Edit mode. Multiplayer play is supported for up to 8 players.

Pro Evolution Soccer 4 has been very well received by players and critics alike and is considered one of the best soccer games for the PlayStation 2. The game was a commercial success and won many awards.
