FIFA Football 2005, also known as FIFA Soccer 2005 in North America, is a soccer-themed sports video game developed by EA Canada and published by Electronic Arts. The game was released for the PlayStation 2 and other platforms in October 2004. FIFA Football 2005 is the twelfth installment in the highly successful FIFA franchise and continues the tradition of offering an expansive soccer experience.

FIFA Football 2005 features more than 350 teams from 18 different football leagues around the world, including the English Premier League, Italy's Serie A and Spain's La Liga. Players can select their favourite team and play in a variety of modes such as friendlies, tournaments, league competitions and a career mode that allows them to manage their team both on and off the pitch.

One of the most significant new features in FIFA Football 2005 is the improved gameplay and control system, which includes a "First Touch" system. This feature allows players better control of the ball when receiving and passing, giving them more options on the pitch. Other enhancements include better teammate AI, more realistic player behaviour and improved graphics.
