The Urbz: Sims in the City is a life simulator and social game developed by Maxis and published by Electronic Arts. The game was released in 2004 for PlayStation 2, as well as for other platforms such as GameCube, Xbox and Game Boy Advance.

In The Urbz: Sims in the City, players find themselves in an urbanized city environment that consists of nine different neighborhoods, each with its own unique style and culture. Players create their own sim and interact with other city dwellers, forging friendships, gaining reputation and advancing their careers.

The main goal of the game is to gain as much reputation as possible, allowing players to access new parts of the city and unlock new opportunities.
