Kingdom Hearts II is an action PRG for the PS2 console that is once again a collaboration between Square-Enix and Disney, offering a tasty mix of characters from Square-Enix titles (particularly characters from the Final Fantasy series) and Disney fairy tales. The story of Kingdom Hearts II begins in the well-known Twilight Town, exactly 1 year after the events of the GBA title Kingdom Hearts: Chains of Memories. Twilight Town is a town located on the border between day and night/light and darkness. The player once again takes on the role of a boy named Sora who, along with his friends (Mickey Mouse, Donald, Goofy), battles the shadowy enemies known as the Heartless to save Mulan, get the drop on the scheming underworld ruler Snake, and uncover the secrets of the new main enemy. The new adventures of the aforementioned characters will bring answers to unanswered questions from the first installment in a brand new treatment, with an improved combat system, hopefully a properly functioning camera and a few other features. The main new feature is the ability to combine the powers of any character with their teammates for a limited time to create a temporary, stronger version of them.
