PS2 Crash Nitro Kart is a racing video game inspired by the popular Crash Bandicoot series. It was released in 2003 for the PlayStation 2 (PS2), but also for other game consoles such as the Xbox and GameCube. The game was developed by Vicarious Visions and published by Universal Interactive.

In Crash Nitro Kart, players participate in races with characters from the Crash Bandicoot universe. Each character has specific attributes such as speed, acceleration and durability that affect their performance in races. In races, players can earn and use various bonuses and weapons to gain an advantage or make the race more difficult for opponents.

The main story mode, known as "Adventure Mode", follows Crash Bandicoot and his team as they are kidnapped by an alien ruler named Emperor Velo XXVII and are forced to race in his intergalactic coliseum. The goal is to win all the trophies and defeat Emperor Velo.

There are also many other modes in the game, including Time Trial, Arcade, Versus and Battle. The game also supports multiplayer, either on a single console or over the network, allowing players to race against each other.

Crash Nitro Kart is more graphically varied and detailed than previous games in the series and includes several new features, including the ability to drive on walls and ceilings in certain parts of races.
