Space Chimps for PlayStation 2 is an action-adventure game based on the 2008 animated film of the same name. Players control two main characters, Ham III, the grandson of the first chimp in space, and Luna, a brave astronaut. The game follows their space adventure as they are teleported to a distant and exotic planet in order to save its inhabitants from a tyrannical ruler.

In the game, players move through various levels filled with logic puzzles, platforming challenges and action sequences. Each character has unique abilities that can be used to overcome obstacles and enemies throughout the game. Ham, for example, can use his acrobatic skills to perform tricky jumps, while Luna has technical gadgets that help solve various puzzles.
