Eragon is an action-adventure game based on the fantasy novel of the same name by Christopher Paolini. This game was developed and released for the PlayStation 2 game console and is connected to the film adaptation "Eragon", which was also inspired by the book.

The game takes you to the world of Alagaësia, where you take control of a young farmer named Eragon. Eragon discovers a dragon egg and from this find a dragon named Saphira evolves. Together with the dragon, he becomes part of an ancient battle between good and evil, where he must confront the powerful King Galbatorix.

The gameplay of "Eragon" includes action-packed battles, exploring the environment and completing various quests. Eragon can use the sword and spells he acquires during the game, and the dragon Saphira gives you additional abilities and support during the adventure. Players move through different locations, fight various enemies and solve puzzles.
