DRIV3R or Driver 3 is the third sequel to the popular 3D car action game from Reflections and ATARI. The Hollywood plot once again puts you in the role of tough detective Tanner, who this time must infiltrate a gang of car thieves with his partner. As well as missions set in vehicles, it also offers on-foot action on the streets of several detailed cities. In the shoes of the protagonist, you'll navigate the streets of Istanbul, Turkey, Nice, France and Miami, USA. As is customary in the Driver series, the individual missions are combined into a cohesive storyline that takes the player inside buildings for the first time. The game runs on the vastly improved engine of the PS2 hit Stuntman, which can calculate and display an area of up to 30 square miles and also conveys a great physics model. More importantly, however, is the fact that this impressive size doesn't affect the quality and detail of the graphics.
