PS1 Evil Dead: Hail to the King

Evil Dead: Hail to the King is a horror video game from Heavy Iron Studios, published by THQ for PlayStation, Dreamcast and Microsoft Windows. It was also Heavy Iron Studios' first game; they have since worked on some video games such as SpongeBob SquarePants and Pixar.

Evil Dead: Hail to the King plays similarly to Resident Evil, incorporating similar gameplay elements such as pre-rendered backgrounds and fixed camera angles, as well as limited ammunition and chainsaw fuel.

The game takes place eight years after the events of Army of Darkness. However, after Ashley "Ash" Williams has regained employment at S-Mart and begun a new relationship with Jenny, he begins to suffer from recurring nightmares about the Necronomicon and the dead that have haunted him for years. Jenny wants to help him and decides to take Ash back to Professor Knowby's old cabin to help him face his own demons.
