PlayStation Vita is a portable, handheld gaming console with a 5-inch OLED display that lets you play PS4 games. Control is via analogue sticks, buttons and a touchscreen. There are also front and rear cameras and motion sensors. This is the successor to the popular PlayStation Portable.

Main features of PS Vita

Vita is literally a pocket-sized gaming console. It weighs just 219g, is slim and fits perfectly in the hand thanks to its rounded edges. The console boasts 1GB of internal storage. It can also store additional games, apps, images or videos on PS Vita memory cards, which are available in sizes from 4GB to 32GB. PS Vita is not compatible with standard SD cards. Taking a cue from smartphones, the handheld PlayStation also features cameras on the front and back. Precise motion sensing is handled by a three-axis gyroscope, three-axis accelerometer and three-axis electronic compass. Battery life is 3 to 5 hours on a single charge when playing games or watching videos, and 9 hours when playing songs in Stand-by mode.
