Madagascar is an action-adventure video game released in 2005 for the Nintendo GameCube, inspired by the DreamWorks animated film of the same name. The game was developed by Toys for Bob and published by Activision. Players have the opportunity to control the four main characters from the film: Alex the lion, Marty the zebra, Melman the giraffe, and Gloria the hippo, each with their own unique abilities and gameplay.

In Madagascar, you follow a story similar to the one in the movie, where a group of animals from the Central Park Zoo find themselves on the wild island of Madagascar after their attempt to escape the zoo goes awry. Each character has special abilities: Alex can growl and attack with his claws, Marty can sprint and kick, Melman can use his neck to reach high places, and Gloria has strength that she can use to break obstacles.
