The Incredibles on PS2 is a multi-format action game based on the movie of the same name, revolving around a normal undercover family of superheroes trying (or rather, being forced) to live a normal, quiet life. However, with their powers and their past, this is no easy task. Their efforts are disrupted by a band of dangerous desperadoes bent on destroying the world. No one but a family of superheroes can stop them. That's why they're all called back into action. The Incredibles is, to say the least, an interesting and amusing mix of fighting game and arcade, with both gameplay elements represented more or less equally. There are 5 characters, each with some unique ability. First and foremost, the parents, who are Mr. Incredible and Mrs. Elastigirl, deserve a mention, as do their equally gifted offspring Violet, Dash and Jack Jack. The game offers the same storyline as the film, plus adds a few short passages that didn't already fit in the film. All in all, this works out to roughly 20 missions in which the player can rotate characters as needed.
